Published range: $1,100 to $1,450
Income-eligible owners (225% of the federal poverty level) may receive up to $1,450 for 1996 and newer vehicles or up to $1,100 for 1976–1995 vehicles. A consumer copay applies. Do not start CAP repairs before the letter of eligibility. Work must be done at a STAR test-and-repair station.
