AMP can forgive 1/12 of eligible arrears after each on-time payment of the current bill, up to $8,000 after 12 on-time payments. You must already be on CARE or FERA and meet past-due thresholds. CPUC records schedule the pilot to sunset October 1, 2026; IOU pages still described enrollment as of September 6, 2026.

Who may qualify
- CARE, FERA, ESA, and Medical Baseline are offered by participating investor-owned utilities. Municipal utilities have separate discounts.
- Gas CARE or Medical Baseline may apply if you take gas service from a participating IOU.
